Education is one of the most fundamental tools we as Africans can use to empower ourselves. Mathematics specifically, is key to building a society of critical thinking youth which will propel our societies to greater heights

It was built using the Ionic framework for the mobile app and Node JS for the backend

Implementing a character recognition algorithm that reads human handwritings proved to be more difficult that we thought. The system currently only recognises printed text

We are proud of the fact that we developed something that could potentially leave a positive impact on the lives of a multitude of people who may otherwise have been deprived of the opportunity to attain a quality education

We as a group learnt very important lessons about teamwork and working under immense pressure. We also learned a great deal from other participants and their various eye-opening ideas

To reach out to the corporate world to get them to fund students who show promise and dedication using the app.
