About Alfrid:
Alfrid 1.0 is the first step in a journey to create an artificial intelligence for your home. Currently, he waits patiently until seeing someone's face. Once he sees a face he will follow the face around and snap a picture of the face.
In addition to Alfrid's intelligent autonomous movement you can remote in to see what he sees and control him via your phone or computer. This is great if you want to see what is happening in your house while away.
Challenges:
Getting Alfrid to move in a life-like and non-jerky way has been challenging. However, improvements are currently in development and should alleviate the problem.
What's Next?
In the next phase you can expect Alfrid to become more life-like. We will be teaching him to listen and speak in the next iteration.
