Inspiration
I was inspired by the muse headband. So i wanted to explore the possibilities of the headband with the help of their API's.
What it does
The application reads your brain waves changes your living room environment based on your mood
How we built it
We built a android application that integrates muse head band and its functionalities through bluetooth. Tools used android studio.
Challenges we ran into
Sending silent message to amazon echo which is no possible at the moment, so instead we used google now to directly communicate with echo.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to detect different brain waves and change the room temperature, play songs accordingly as well dim/brighten the light in the room
What we learned
We were able to know about the different possibilities of the muse head band usage and its api.
What's next for Alexuse
Planning to implement the same with the help of AWS as well as use IBM watson for smart decisions. Also there is a overhead of multiple people using the headband in the same room, we are currently working on the solution to enlighten the mood of whoever using the application.
