Inspiration

We were inspired by the Receiptify App and the way in which it makes data accessible, social, and fun.

What it does

Creates a graphic summary of the most recent books that a user has read.

How we built it

We used Java and data from goodreads to generate a graphic.

Challenges we ran into

Learning how to parse csv files when fields contain commas, coming up with a fun idea with viable scope, lack of goodreads API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We reached our goal (finished a programming hackathon!) without sacrificing our sleep.

What we learned

Monster energy drinks do not taste good

A web interface, smoother automation, more graphic options, smoother handling of corner cases
