Many elderly patients forget to take their medicines on time, especially when managing multiple prescriptions. Family members and caregivers may not always be available to remind them. This inspired us to develop a smart medication reminder and caregiver alert system.

What it does

Alexa+ is designed to help patients follow their medication schedules through smart reminders and caregiver notifications. The proposed system aims to reduce missed doses and improve communication between patients and caregivers.

How we built it

Our approach combines a user-friendly medication management interface, scheduled reminders, medication tracking, and a caregiver notification workflow.

Challenges we faced

Designing a simple experience for elderly users, planning reliable reminders, and handling missed-dose notifications were important challenges.
