My love of heavy metal music.
What it does
A trivia game revolving around heavy metal bands, categories include 80's, 90's 2K and Moshpit. The game is easy basically each round includes 10 questions in the category of your choice. A hint bundle is available for purchase, if purchased you unlock unlimited hints, stats and in game rewards. The goal of the game is to figure out all 100 bands in the quiz, if you purchase the bundle you can win the game, the free version is unlimited plays but you can not win the game. The in game rewards are in the form of badges that are unlocked as miles stones in the game, including a hidden Easter Egg intent to unlock a special badge.
How I built it
c# + lambda + dynamodb + ISP + APL = on heck of a game.
Challenges I ran into
Collecting the data for the game was a challenge but well worth it.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Its a bad ass game any metal head would love to play.
What's next for Alexa Heavy Metal Trivia
Possibly a season 2 will be added if the game takes on a life of its own.
