Inspiration
College students often struggle to balance assignments, study sessions, and daily responsibilities. We wanted to create a simple, conversational assistant that makes organizing academic life easier and encourages productive study habits.
What it does
Alexa Campus Companion is an Alexa+-inspired student productivity web experience. It provides an interactive conversational interface, task management, daily progress tracking, and a focus timer to help students stay organized.
How we built it
We built the project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML structures the interface, CSS creates a responsive and modern design, and JavaScript powers the interactive features and local conversation logic.
Challenges we faced
One challenge was designing an intuitive interface that brings several productivity features together without overwhelming the user. We focused on clear navigation, a conversational layout, and simple interactions.
What we learned
We learned how to combine front-end technologies to build an interactive productivity experience, organize project files for GitHub, and prepare a project for public demonstration.
What's next
Future improvements could include real Alexa integration, AI-powered conversations, voice-driven task creation, calendar synchronization, and personalized study recommendations.
