The search for meaningful data is the present. Interacting with such a meaningful data source, both visually and vocally is the thing of the future.

What "aBOuT" currently is

aBOuT, is currently built across the News domain. How would you like to know what each of the News Sources have to say on a specific topic?

We are accessing a prescribed list of news feeds, record news articles, apply our filter intelligence and present them. As simple as that! Interactive experience guaranteed!!

Under the hood

You simply ask Alexa if there are any news on a topic of your choice. For instance, you say, "Alexa, Show me all articles on Sachin Tendulkar?" or you say "Alexa, Show me all articles from Today?" or "Alexa, Show me all articles on State Elections from Today?". Our Bot does what it does best and Alexa relays the requested information. While Alexa will respond with just voice on an Echo Dot device, she will visually represent information on the Echo Spot and Fire TV.

Sadly, if there are not news on the requested topic, Our unrelenting Bot will use an ML Algorithm to identify probable substitute topics that you can choose from.

And on a technical note, we learnt a lot on AWS Services like Alexa APL, Lambda, API gateway and Elastic cache.

Where we're heading

  • Not a News person, we're also exploring other Domains. Think about asking Alexa to list all reviews on the Audi A8!
