Alertation

This is an Android application that gives the user important notifications based on their location. The user can subscribe to push notifications for general categories, such as nearby emergencies happening (think PennAlerts), health warnings about people being unusually sick nearby, or even parties that are happening tonight. Our category information comes from performing natural language processing over Twitter data.
