This app profiles Alberta population statistic, adding insight to the province's future population trends. It combines official census data from 2001-2011 as well as data population projections from 2014 - 2041.
This apps is easy to use, giving you visual data on Alberta's changing demographics and where we are headed as Alberta's population base continues to grow and expand.
It provides you with a range of interactive options Just click on any of the year tabs below to see a profile for that particular year. When you click on projections profile, 2016 and beyond, you'll notice an additional selection options appearing at the top of the chart. These are low, medium and high population projections which you can select and compare.
A popup window appears when you roll your mouse over the blue or pink bars, providing you with additional information. To change age grouping increment profiles just click on any of the blue or pink bars and it will update with a new profile.
