This app profiles Alberta government salary disclosures. It uses official Alberta government data highlighting management salary levels from government departments and provides you with a simple to understand interactive visual.
This app shows you the various ministries and departments arranged in visual blocks. Basically the larger the block the higher the salary budget for that particular department. A department like Justice and Solicitor General which has a budget of $58 million is much larger than Alberta Culture which only has a budget of less than $6 million.
Rolling your mouse over a block, a pop-up windows appears, showing you additional info on base salary and overall percentage share. Clicking on one of these blocks takes you to a secondary screen, breaking down the salary levels of individual management employees. Again this gives you a quick overview in an easy to understand graphic.
