Inspiration

We were inspired by the struggles faced by rural students in India who often lack access to quality education due to language barriers and limited teaching resources.

What it does

Our solution is an AI-powered multilingual learning assistant that delivers curriculum explanations, translations, quizzes, and interactive Q&A in Indian regional languages.

How we built it

We designed the system using generative AI models fine-tuned on open educational datasets, combined with speech-to-text and text-to-speech for accessibility, and deployed it through a lightweight mobile app for rural reach.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges in managing limited datasets for regional languages, ensuring accuracy in translations, and optimizing the system to work in areas with poor internet connectivity.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a working prototype that makes learning accessible in multiple languages, and we’re proud that it can help bridge the education gap for rural students.
