WHAT INSPIRED US?
About 90% of the people in this world love to enjoy crops that are grow in their own garden but due to high tight scheduled life makes it impossible ,so we decided to build a robot that doesn't need any human monitoring session,it can initiate its work by itself .
WHAT IS AKRO?
‘Akro’ is an autonomous robot which adopts artificial intelligence,machine learning and iot with pioneer endurance to the unique food cultivation technology. Not everyone in the community can afford time to grow and nurture their own crops. In that case our solution “Akro” paves an aid to all those who needs their garden to be a farmland'
WHAT IT DOES?
1.SEEDING
The robot just needs an area of cultivation. It has self-dispensing system with seed injection technology and tracks the path with ML (tensorflow,opencv) and implements the work by itself. It can grow two crops at the same time in the same field.
2.IRRIGATION
It initiates irrigation by sending command to the motor pump,it uses soil moisture sensor in this process.
3.FERTILIZATION
As everyone enjoys chemical less eatables we designed our fertilizer compartment ,that it will only allow chemical less disinfectant it is measured using ph meter in our system
4.MONITORING
It monitors the crops in the regular interval of 6hrs, We built it with industries new ble33 sensor for temperature, pressure and humidity and uses iot to transfer information to the user’s interactive dashboard elsewhere and employs .
5.PEST DETECTION
It computes an application that apprehends the complete knowledge about the viable pathogens and pests using object detection using tensorflow application implemented using raspi-4 which can detect 100 types of plant diseases and gives the remedial solution and desired fertilizer for the same
6. SELF CHARGING
Everything is connected with the raspberry pie board and after the monitory work the robot docks itself to the illuminated solar panel charging station. And it is powered with lithium polymer battery. The single autonomous robot interfaces the ground to the bot and to the user. It employs all technology to do wholesome work without the user’s endurance.
CHALLENGES WE FACED
On the lock down days it was extremely challenging to work on the project, each member being elsewhere. We all were connected only with the meeting apps and media interfaces, thanks again to the technology. There we dealt with great challenge with AI, ML and iot works.

We are extremely happy with the 100% success rate of our project which holds highly new innovations and we are proud of it.
WHAT WE LEARNED
We gained a lot of knowledge working on this project and learned to face the challenge in competing online hackathons, time management and ethical skills.
WHAT’S NEXT?
We will employ harvesting feature the latest versions and globalize our work to larger on autonomous farming in affordable cost.
