Inspiration

The current atmosphere is all about AI but because of the over saturation of so many tools. I felt like there should be a platform that incorporates these AI tools that are used in daily basis.

What it does

AITIL is a multi incorporated AI systems to enhance the user creativity, effectiveness and overall development speed by 10x. The platform houses openAI and replicateAI models to gives responses to the user asked query. It can be simple conversational question, generating images and code snippets.

How we built it

I have built it using nextJs, tailwind and shadcn. The overall interface is mobile-friendly and dynamic for any screen size. The platform is running on render for a stable response and also three.js is incorporated to design the landing page. The openAI api that is being used are 3.5 turbo for the conversation and 4.0 for the code snippet.

Challenges we ran into

There were two challenges that I faced: 1. The documentation has been updated in the openAI and there are few declarations that have been deprecated, which resulted in many bugs and to update those with new functions which is not yet documented properly was something that bothered me for long. As a team of only one, the whole process of designing the UI and creating the whole interface was pretty hectic and also buggy at times.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of using shadcn, which i literally used for the first time and I'm happy about how it turned out. Also, I'm happy about doing it on time with so many new things that I have tweaked to improve the performance was amazing.

What we learned

I learnt how a simple idea can turn into a multi process, multi model system. I started with just few concepts that I will add and now I think it can be converted into a full fledge platform with so many new integrations. I learnt things like if it cannot be fixed this way than you're doing wrong look for an alternative but don't run to remove it.

What's next for Aitil

As a full platform with payment portal and multiple tools other than what it has currently. I think pdfAI and Music generator will be something that I want to target after this.
