Inspiration
We were inspired by Google's mission of sharing information with the world. With this we decided to be able to provide people with the answers they need.
What it does
This MERN app provides users information specifically related to the area of interest of choice or professional career path. Information such as Youtube tutorials, Github repositories, questions about a specific topic related to you, or any questions in general.
How we built it
Backend provides operations of authorization and profile editing as well as interactions with AI-based API using express, axios, mongoose and other tools. Frontend represents React single page application that is styled with a use of BootStrap CSS framework.
Challenges we ran into
Multiple consecutive requests to the API with the purpose of retrieving the necessary data. Making sure the API would populate a Youtube link and providing user with the most relevant feedback Short deadline made us cut some corners.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to deliver a tool that will teach people according to their professional backgrounds. Finishing a project with a very tight deadline.
