The objective of this project is to develop an intelligent IoT-based irrigation system that can automatically water plants according to their specific moisture requirements. By creating an automatic irrigation process, the project aims to achieve several key objectives. Firstly, water conservation is a primary focus. The system will be designed to supply water precisely when and where it is needed, thus effectively conserving water resources. This targeted approach to irrigation will help prevent water wastage and ensure that plants receive the right amount of moisture for their optimal growth. Secondly, the implementation of the automatic irrigation system is expected to result in cost and labor savings. By automating the irrigation process, the need for manual watering will be reduced, leading to potential cost savings for the users and minimizing the requirement for labor-intensive tasks. Furthermore, the project seeks to contribute to sustainability and reduce the ecological impact of irrigation practices. The intelligent irrigation system's ability to tailor water supply to the specific needs of plants can play a role in promoting a more sustainable approach to plant care, potentially reducing water usage and its associated environmental impact. Lastly, the project utilize Arduino as the microcontroller and C# as the programming language to implement this smart irrigation solution, creating an efficient and effective automated system that can cater to the unique moisture requirements of various plants, promoting better plant health and resource management.
