Inspiration I’ve always been into sneakers and clean design — and I wanted to create something that didn’t just sell shoes, but actually felt like part of the culture. That’s where AirNova came from. I imagined a bold, modern shopping experience that speaks the same visual language as Nike, Puma, and other top streetwear brands. What I Learned This project taught me a lot, especially about:
Building responsive and clean UI with Tailwind CSS
Structuring modern frontend projects using React
Setting up smooth page navigation with React Router
Designing with icons and layouts that feel futuristic and fresh
Thinking from the user's perspective — not just how it works, but how it flows
How I Built It I started by planning the UI in Figma, focusing on bold fonts, strong contrast, and a clean product grid. From there:
I built everything with React.js
Styled the components using Tailwind CSS
Managed routing between pages using React Router
Added clean, dynamic icons with React Icons and Lucide Icons
Kept the focus on frontend for now, but made it scalable for future backend integration
The goal was to keep the experience smooth, snappy, and easy to browse — just like a real modern storefront.
Challenges Building solo meant wearing a lot of hats — designer, developer, QA tester. One of the biggest challenges was making sure the UI looked great on all devices without overcomplicating the layout. I also spent time finding the right balance between a futuristic vibe and something that still feels familiar for users.
