Inspiration
Tamu Hack 2025's ticket system was our main inspiration! We wanted to build something equally innovative that could streamline operations while being user-friendly.
What it does
It is a simple webpage with a ticket system where every time a passenger logs a complaint, it adds the data to the live server for employees to edit. This ensures real-time issue tracking and resolution.
How we built it
We used React, Python, Gemini's API, LowDB, and a lot of ChatGPT! The collaborative effort between tools allowed us to integrate functionality seamlessly.
Challenges we ran into
React was a new software we never used before, and learning it on the go while building the project was both challenging and rewarding.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to make a live translation system that has actual real-world application, making it easier for employees to assist customers regardless of language barriers.
What we learned
We learned how to integrate Gemini's API into a larger program to assist in personalization and gained experience working with new technologies in a team environment.
What's next for Airline Helper Ticket System!
Airline Helper Ticket System is built to overlay a large pathfinding system to allow for employees to minimize wandering around and wasting energy. Additionally, we plan to improve scalability to handle larger airline operations efficiently.
