Inspiration

The idea for this project came from watching how stressful and time-consuming resume creation can be for students, freshers, and job seekers. Many people struggle to:

Write professional summaries Describe their experience effectively Create ATS-friendly resumes Design resumes that actually stand out

I noticed that even highly skilled people often get rejected because their resumes are poorly structured or lack the right keywords. At the same time, AI tools were becoming powerful enough to assist with writing and personalization.

That inspired me to build an AI-powered Resume Builder that simplifies the entire process:

The goal was to make resume creation accessible to everyone, regardless of technical or writing skills.

How we built it

Frontend

I used modern frontend technologies to create a responsive and fast user interface:

Challenges we ran into

  1. Maintaining ATS Compatibility

One major challenge was balancing modern resume design with ATS readability.

Many visually attractive resumes fail ATS parsing systems. I had to carefully structure templates using semantic layouts and readable formatting.

  1. Real-Time Preview Synchronization

Keeping the editor and preview perfectly synchronized without performance lag required efficient state management and rendering optimization.

  1. AI Output Quality

AI-generated content sometimes became:

I improved this by refining prompts and adding formatting constraints to produce cleaner and more professional outputs.

Gained valuable experience in building a full-stack SaaS-style application using modern web technologies and AI integration.
