Every day, millions of people check the Air Quality Index (AQI), but very few understand what those numbers actually mean for their own health.

An AQI of 180 might be a minor inconvenience for one person but could pose a serious risk to someone with asthma, allergies, or other respiratory conditions. Existing air quality applications focus on environmental data, but they rarely answer the most important question:

"What does today's air mean for me?"

That question inspired us to build AirDNA.

Instead of showing users another pollution dashboard, we wanted to create an intelligent companion that transforms complex environmental data into personalized health insights through a Digital Air Twin.

Our application is designed using a modern full-stack architecture.

๐Ÿšง Challenges We Faced

One of the biggest challenges was integrating multiple real-time data sources while maintaining a smooth user experience.

We also had to:

Combine environmental data with personalized health information. Design a Digital Twin that updates dynamically without overwhelming users. Integrate mapping, routing, and geospatial services. Build a responsive interface that feels intuitive while presenting complex environmental information.

Another major challenge was transforming technical environmental data into recommendations that are meaningful and actionable for everyday users.
