Inspiration : The passion for innovation and technology will drive as to create cutting-edge solutions, including advanced sensors and monitoring devices, to tackle environmental challenges like air pollution.

What it does : Our sensor focuses on the five components of the Environmental Protection Agency's Air Quality Index: ozone, particulate matter, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrous oxide. This device detects all of these pollutants except sulfur dioxide. Project's basic principle of working is the sensing of data from the sensor

. Covert the analog (voltage) data into digital form . Process the digital data and display it on LCD.

How we built it : Sensors are of many types which are associated with this is such as gas sensor,

humidity sensor, rain sensor, temperature sensor. To built this we use MQ-135 gas sensor , Arduino UNO , Customized PCB , Buzzer , LCD Display .

Challenges we ran into : Only 3 sensors are used

. Humidity should be less than 95% . Accurate measure of contaminating gases cannot be detected in ppm

Accomplishments that we're proud of : Detecting a wide range of gases,including NH3,CO2,etc,

Simple compact & easy to handle, Sensors have long life time & less cost , Simple drive circuit, System is real time , Quality of air can be checked indoor as wall as outdoor , Visual output , Continuous update of change in percentage of quality

What we learned : Advancements in sensor precision and the critical need for accurate data calibration. Collaborative efforts among experts have enhanced system development, enabling real-time monitoring and swift interventions. User-friendly interfaces, coupled with data interpretation through algorithms, have increased accessibility and understanding.

What's next for Air Pollution Detector : The future scope is that device which we are having can be done in an compact way by reducing the size of the device For further implementation or the modifications which can be is that detecting the vehicles amount of pollution which can be determined.Infuture the range can be made increased according to the bandwidth for the high range frequencies. Further research can be made by making the people in the right direction for their welfare. Therefore there is another beneficiary by using this device in an app so the all can be used in an GSM mobile phones for their daily updates by increasing their range.
