Inspiration
We wanted to create a web application to aid American Airlines passengers. The nuances to an airline network, from the planes to the pilots to the passengers, we wanted to challenge ourselves to create a web application that could address some of these fields.
What it does
Our web application shows passengers' flight information, flight tracking, luggage control, and more.
How we built it
We built the web application using Python using mainly streamlit to build both our frontend and backend. We used a randomized American Airlines API to extract our data.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges trying to style our frontend since we used streamlit.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to create a working web application that can aid American Airlines passengers that we can continue to build upon.
What we learned
For most of us, it was our first hackathon/web dev project and we were able to learn the foundations of web development.
What's next for Air-Plan
Find a way to style our frontend even more that expands streamlit.
