Inspiration
I was inspired by a very old mobile game - a top down game that let players land aircrafts by dragging a line from the aircraft to the runway. Very simple concept but fantastic gameplay!
I know this concept would translate very well to a mixed reality game and that is what I have created here. There is so much potential for this game - new maps, multiplayer gameplay, air combat, etc.

Unity 3D and Meta Quest 2 Headset and SDKs
Challenges I ran into
This was my first video game. Learning Unity and Meta's SDKs was very challenging but luckily there are lots of learning resources online
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Juggling a full time job as a software developer and building/learning to build this project in my free time
What I learned
A lot about Unity, Mixed Reality development and video game math (the best kind of math)
What's next for Air Control XR Game
Bug fixes, more polish and refinement to gameplay, a proper GUI, new gameplay modes, multiplayer
