Inspiration

Write a book - it sounds like a month of writing, looking for inspiration and a huge amount of keyboard keys typing - not today's. What if, any of us were able to design a story flow, define characters, chapters, writing style and push the button to see a ready-to-read book? This is it, a new way to write books together with AI in aink.studio!

What it does

aink.studio allows users to create ebooks in IPUB format. A user in less than 30 mins is able to create 50-page story without writing skills. Just plan chapters, characters and story flow -> aink studio will transform it into a ready-to-read advanced story writer as user wants to.

How we built it

Without any plan, just with a vibe. I'm an engineer with 10 years of experience. Every system created by my hands started from a draw.io, modules, relations - here I decided to start like a non-tech guy. I'm impressed how it works

Challenges we ran into

Firebase - it was my first time with non-SQL, document databases, cloud functions and others,
Prompts to coding - I learnt how to use bolt.new in an effective and optimal way

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Whole product. Aink can generate a completed, consistent with the author's vision.
Everyone can write a book together with aink!
Reiterate the "50 pages in 30 minutes" here as a key accomplishment.

What we learned

Vibe coding can deliver fully working, good-quality products. I'm also surprised with Firebase, previously in my career I always used enterprise technologies like .NET and relational databases - here I made it 100% different and it's worked!
