Inspiration

Every year, according to the WHO, there are over 300,000 annual drowning deaths worldwide. Therefore, it is a major area of concern for the whole world. There are several solutions developed by the governments of countries, but still there is no effect on the condition. But we have come up with dual (Automatic and manual ) solution using AIML to increase the saving rate to maximum

What it does

It is basically created by combining 4 major features that are necessary in every water rescue operation. There is proximity detection, sound detection, motion sensor, camera, and all this is connected using AIML algorithms like CNN. As per shown in the chart, each feature mentioned above helps the device detect the drowning person and reach near to them.

How we built it

We have basically trained a dataset that is capable of detecting the motion of the human under water and then moving the propeller of the device in that direction. All the features are interconnected in such a way that even if anyone is activated, the propellers are signaled and the device is sent to the rescue location.

Challenges we ran into

There were pretty few challenges such as data training and dataset availability, but our team has efficiently worked hard to resolve this issue and generate the required output.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The amount of hardwork and dedication each of the member has given is beyoud appreciation. Even after coming across multiple problems our team was able to show excellent performance. The device which we are generating is never generated before and we are really proud of this as we are able to contribute to countries growth in some or the other way .

What we learned

Through complete development process we have actually learned a lot regarding technical problems and their solutions also we were able to learn a very good lesson that a good team has capability to build a meaningful project

What's next for AIML Automated Water Rescue Device

The hardware part and the installation of the software devices into it is the next and major part of development
