Inspiration
Our team is comprised of members of a robotics-related student organization called RoboJackets. We were inspired to make this while building an autonomous robot for a challenge that involved carrying a passenger around a track while the passenger shoots a Nerf gun into targets.
What it does
Uses OpenCV running on the feed from a top-mounted webcam to identify the target (an orange circle). Lights up LEDs on the control circuit board in response to notify the user that they are ready to fire. Spins up the shooting mechanism within the Nerf gun.
What's next for Aim Assist Nerf Gun
Mounting it on a rotating turret, of course.
