Inspiration

Our inspiration for our app is not reaching the goals that we set due to the lack of motivation and resources. Another inspiration is that we wanted to help all the individuals who are not reaching their goals for small reasons like not having motivation, not having reminders, or it can be that they just got lazy. We want to help people like this so these minor challenges won’t prevent them from reaching their goals.

What it does

What this app does is it keeps track of your goals and to-do’s that you need to get done, it will send you a message that will remind you to work on your goal and work your way up to achieve it. This app is a great way to keep track of everything you need to do and help you achieve it. Our app also has a resource page that will help you out with anything you need, for example, you need help with your form how you do your push, etc.

How we built it

MIT - App inventor, Canva, Emulator in MIT - App inventor, lucid charts, and cap cut.

Challenges we ran into

During our journey of building this app the challenges we ran into were all members of the group didn’t have many days when we were free to meet, we had a little trouble working MIT-App Inventor at the start, we also weren’t able to get as much of our work done as we expected when we met, and finally, during the days we wanted to meet not all of us were available. Hence, we had to leave one member off that day, catch them up later, and work with them for their part, which was a little challenging but worked out in the end.

Accomplishments we are proud of

The accomplishments we are proud of are that we successfully managed to make a functional app as we expected and we were able to finish everything we wanted to on time which we thought would be hard to do based on how far off we were.

What we learned

We learned that time management and teamwork are very important in competitions and situations like this as they can completely decide if you can do anything or you won’t be able to do anything at all.

What’s next for Aim Achiever

Aim Achievers has a lot of things that will be added to it. We are planning to add a level-up feature that will make the app more engaging and better, we will also add more resources to the resource page to make your research and information gathering easier and faster, we will also improve the app’s layout and look by either having it remodeled or using a better software to create the app, and finally to add more features to the app for the goal and the to-do screen.
