What it does

Our Key Features:

#### Portal: MentAlly Our emotional, psychological, and social well-being all contribute to our mental health. It has an impact on how we think, feel, and act. It also influences how we deal with stress, interact with people, and make good decisions. There is a stigma associated with mental illness that must be removed, and people must be made aware so that they seek care at the appropriate time. People are less susceptible to ideas that are simply told or shown to them and more receptive to concepts that are presented interactively.

This portal is an interactive platform committed to raising awareness about mental health concerns and managing mental health while working together to create a safe community.

Interactive activity: Games

    How we built it

We built it using Angular and Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing all the features in the given time constraint was one of the major challenges for us! Managing our time, the right way helped us a lot in successfully building the product. We faced a few issues while implementing the review part. It was an amazing learning experience for us overall!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of overcoming our challenges and building the application.

What we learned

We learned a lot about ASL and disabled persons while developing an app to raise awareness about it. We had a lot of features planned at first, but we realized they weren't viable and didn't fit the narrative. We learned how to write a narrative for our project. During the hackathon, we also experimented with a few recent technologies too!

What's next for AIKYAM

We successfully used lobe for image recognition and translating the images (ASL language) into English text. We look forward to intenerate it with our application in future and provide asl to English translator on our application. Many other amazing features also to be added!

So let's AIKYAM!
