Inspiration

My inspiration to build this was solely based on my own experience. I was going through a rough patch and I couldn't consult any professional help due to personal reasons. I didn't want anyone to be in the same place I was. Which is my reason for creating this app.

What it does

This app acts as your therapist. With AI it understands the situation you are facing and helps you work through it. It's a companion who is always there with you just to talk and help out.

How we built it

We focused on features like chat-based therapy, mood tracking, personalized advice, mental health resources, and emergency contacts. Include AI to simulate conversations and offer guidance. We used natural language processing models to simulate conversations and provide personalized responses. Train the model on mental health-specific datasets for accuracy. We created a simple, intuitive interface for users to interact with the AI. Consider a chat-based design with text and voice input options.

Challenges we ran into

I faced a lot of issues with the accuracy at the start. And since AI is a machine in the end it couldn't comprehend a lot of complex human emotions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am glad I could make this work. I am happy that this will make a difference in the current world we are living in.

What we learned

I learned a lot more about AI and mental health issues. How scary it can be at times and how it can change many lives if you get the right help at the right time.

What's next for AIHEAL

I want to keep updating it. I am hoping to create an AI that can empathies with complex emotions and to create something even better.
