Safe Circle aims to be a proactive solution, leveraging technology to empower women and reduce the incidence of abuse.

Inspiration

When it comes to women who travel alone, there are numerous safety risks, which stem from the society and environment the women find themselves in. These safety risks involve the fear of being abused, attacked, or robbed as a result of violence and discrimination, which exist in many societies across the world. With the ability to research and travel to many destinations, women are however forced to explore these new places while constantly being alert to their surroundings, which also contributes to increased stress levels for the women.

What it does

The Proposed app ‘Safe Circle’ incorporates a Care-Ring button that communicates with a chatbot to provide women's with rapid support and security.

How we built it

It uses Generative AI to ask sequential questions to assess emergencies and determine the necessary support.

What we learned

To build a Chatbot that automatically generates questions and help to analyze situations.

What's next for Safe Circle

The app is highly effective in urban and suburban areas. The system offers features such as predictive threat detection, intelligent alerts, and virtual assistance through gesture and stress analysis.
