Inspiration
One of the biggest mistakes founders can make is spending weeks or months building something before finding out whether people actually want it.
I built ValidateBiz to solve that problem.
The idea was simple: before launching a business, validate the idea in minutes instead of relying on assumptions. I wanted to create a tool that helps founders quickly understand whether their business idea has real potential, who the target customers are, what problems they care about, how competitive the market is, and what they should do next.
The goal wasn't to build another complicated business-planning platform. It was to make validation fast, accessible, and actionable.
What it does
ValidateBiz is a web application where users can enter their business idea and get a structured validation of it within minutes.
Instead of starting with a blank business plan, users can use the platform to pressure-test their idea and turn an initial concept into clearer insights and next steps.
The experience is designed around one question:
"Should I build this business, and what should I validate before I launch?"
How we built it
I focused on making the experience simple from the beginning. A user provides their business idea, and ValidateBiz processes it into useful validation insights rather than overwhelming them with unnecessary complexity.
I designed the product around a quick workflow so that someone can go from idea → validation → next steps in a matter of minutes.
While building it, I paid particular attention to the user experience because business validation can easily become complicated. The challenge was to present useful information in a way that a first-time founder could understand and act on immediately.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was balancing speed, depth, and simplicity.
Users want answers quickly, but meaningful business validation involves many factors. I had to think carefully about how to provide enough insight to be useful without turning the product into a long and intimidating business report.
Another challenge was designing the product around uncertainty. A validation tool shouldn't pretend that it can guarantee whether a business will succeed. Instead, it should help founders identify assumptions, risks, opportunities, and areas that deserve further testing.

What's next for Validatebiz.com
ValidateBiz is built around a simple idea: don't spend months building something before testing whether it deserves to be built.
I want to continue improving the platform so founders can go beyond an initial validation and run deeper experiments, understand their customers, research competitors, test positioning, and make better launch decisions.
Ultimately, I want ValidateBiz to become the place founders go before they build — not after they fail.
