Inspiration

Companies often manage employees, budgets, policies, approvals, and internal workflows across disconnected tools. This creates delays, communication gaps, and limited visibility. We built AIFlow Enterprise OS to bring these operations together in one intelligent, secure workspace.

What it does

AIFlow Enterprise OS is an AI-powered, multi-tenant enterprise management platform that streamlines daily business operations. It provides role-based access for administrators, managers, and employees, along with department management, employee onboarding, policy management, budget tracking, request approvals, and AI agent integration. Its centralized audit trail improves accountability and transparency.

How we built it

We built the frontend using React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui. Convex powers the backend, database, and real-time data operations. Convex Auth supports authentication, while tenant-based data isolation helps keep company information separate. We designed role-based workflows to provide users with access to the features relevant to their responsibilities.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge was implementing secure multi-tenant access while ensuring users could access only their company's data. We also worked on authentication synchronization, company creation, employee mapping, role-based permissions, and reliable data flow between the frontend and backend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We developed a unified enterprise platform that combines employee management, organizational workflows, request approvals, and AI-powered capabilities. We are particularly proud of the multi-tenant architecture, role-based experience, and centralized audit tracking.

What we learned

We gained practical experience in full-stack development, authentication, database design, multi-tenant architecture, access control, and real-time application development. We also learned how to approach enterprise problems by focusing on security, scalability, and usability.

What's next for AIFlow Enterprise OS

Our next steps include expanding AI agents for workflow automation, adding intelligent insights and predictive analytics, improving audit and compliance reporting, and integrating external workplace tools. Our long-term goal is to make AIFlow a secure, intelligent operating system for modern businesses.
