📖 About the Project – AIFarmEasy

🌱 Inspiration

India’s farmers face multiple challenges — from lack of access to reliable market platforms to limited awareness about crop diseases and best farming practices. Many still rely on word-of-mouth or outdated techniques, and there's a clear gap in connecting them with customers or expert help.

The idea for AIFarmEasy came from this very need:

"What if we could give every farmer a simple app that connects them to buyers, fellow farmers, and even a smart AI expert?"

We were inspired to create a platform that empowers farmers, supports local produce, and promotes digital agriculture in a way that's accessible and practical.

🛠️ How We Built It

We chose tools and technologies that would be mobile-friendly, scalable, and quick to develop:

Frontend: React Native (Expo) for cross-platform mobile compatibility.
Database:.supabase
AI Chatbot: openrouter ai
Optional APIs: Planning integration with government weather and agri-news APIs.

We focused on clean UI, easy UX for low-tech users, and multilingual readiness.

🎓 What We Learned

How to make tech accessible for non-technical users, especially in rural contexts.
Integrating AI into mobile apps in a meaningful, non-gimmicky way.
Designing a scalable architecture that handles community content and real-time queries.
Building a user experience that’s intuitive, even for first-time smartphone users.

🚧 Challenges We Faced

--developing the app lots of struggles facing while creating too much amount of token usage . --Repeating same . -- Already implemented files are deleting this i have too frustrated too develop it. -- If i say one it doing another thing --needed to fix the bugs in the website..
