Inspiration

With thousands of AI tools flooding the internet, creators, students, and developers waste hours searching for the right workflow solutions. I wanted to build a clean, fast, and centralized directory that cuts through the noise and provides instant access to top-tier AI tools.

What it does

AIDIRECTION is a web platform featuring 72+ hand-curated AI tools categorized across 10 specialized domains (Coding, Video, Writing, Image, Productivity, Design, LLM, Dropshipping, Search, and Audio). Users can search, filter by category, and explore featured tools in seconds.

How we built it

  • Frontend & UI: HTML5, CSS3 with Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript for dynamic category filtering and instant live search.
  • Deployment: Deployed and hosted on Netlify for fast global edge delivery.

Challenges we faced

Organizing 70+ AI tools into intuitive categories while keeping the UI responsive, modern, and dark-themed for seamless mobile and desktop viewing.

What we learned

Optimizing frontend state management for rapid client-side filtering without performance lag.
