Inspiration
Managing appointments, meetings, and daily schedules can be overwhelming, especially now when we have so many different apps and websites that we use all in the name of organization. On top of that, traditional daily-life organization software requires lots of manual input and has limited function. As a result, users may miss important events and updates and struggle to stay organized. Furthermore, traditional secretaries and assistants are only accessible by wealthy individuals. AIDA was built to provide an accessible organizational assistant to manage users' daily lives.
What it does
AIDA is an all-in-one organizational platform and assistant. It automatically and dynamically blocks time in a user's schedule using task prioritization. The dashboard also provides an overview of the user's life with personalized news updates, notifications, and reminders. Users can also allow AIDA to organize other aspects of their life including meal planning, fitness tracking, and personal relationships. AIDA keeps the user on track by implementing a focus mode when they should be working on tasks to prevent them from being distracted.
How we built it
The prototype was built using Figma.
Challenges we ran into
The team was relatively new to Figma so there was a learning curve when building the prototype. The time constraint was also a challenge as we had to prioritize certain aspects of the design to show an accurate representation of what AIDA does.
What's next for AIDA - Artificial Intelligence Daily Assistant
AIDA will be integrated with other apps like Google Calendar and emails. To be more accessible, AIDA will also be built into a mobile app. Another next step for the program is to integrate with information like food in a user's fridge to improve sustainability and decrease food waste.
