Inspiration

The inspiration behind our project stemmed from the challenges businesses face when managing invoices and financial records manually. With the growing volume of invoices, errors, fraud, and the need for compliance, traditional methods became inefficient. we envisioned a solution that would automate accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, reducing human error, and simplifying workflows. AIccounts was designed to meet these needs by leveraging cutting-edge AI and machine learning for intelligent data extraction, fraud detection, and reporting.

What it does

Our project has two key features:

1. Invoice Management System

Read and Classify Information from Invoices
  • Efficient extraction and classification of invoice data stored in the database.
Multi-format Support
  • Supports multiple formats to ensure versatility and high performance.
AI-driven Extraction and Classification
  • Utilizes AI for extracting and classifying data with human-like performance and machine-level accuracy.

2. Reporting

Custom Dashboard
  • A custom dashboard for visualizing data in a user-friendly way.
Multi-format Extraction and Storage
  • Extract and store data from multiple formats, catering to various use cases.
API-driven Extraction
  • API-driven extraction that can be customized according to client needs.

How we built it

We build our product using React, Python Flask Framework, MongoDB, Gemini, ChatGPT and ClaudeAI

Challenges we ran into

We struggled a lot with ensuring our project has all the features until the final deadline.

We are proud of envisioning an idea and implementing it in such a limited time as well as establishing strong communication between the team members!

What we learned

We learned how to effectively use Gemini to write code efficiently.

What's next for AIccounts (AI + Accounts)

We are going to work on implementing more features such as ERP & Accounting Software Integration and API for third party Tools.
