Inspiration

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) promise transparent and collective decision-making, but in reality, they often struggle with slow processes, low-quality proposals, and biased voting.

We were inspired by a simple question:
What if DAOs had an intelligent decision-making layer that could assist, evaluate, and accelerate governance?

AIC-DAO was born from this idea — combining AI with decentralized systems to create a smarter, faster, and more trustworthy investment decision process.

What it does

AIC-DAO is an AI-powered Autonomous Investment Committee designed to enhance DAO governance.

It allows users to:

  • Submit investment proposals
  • Receive AI-driven evaluation and scoring
  • View trust metrics and insights
  • Participate in decentralized voting
  • Arrive at faster, data-informed decisions

The platform acts as an intelligent layer on top of DAOs, reducing noise and improving the overall quality of decisions.

How we built it

We built AIC-DAO as a full-stack application with a focus on simplicity and real-time interaction.

  • Frontend: Interactive UI for proposal submission, scoring, and voting
  • Backend: Handles proposal data, AI evaluation logic, and decision flow
  • AI Layer: Analyzes proposals and generates structured insights and scores
  • Simulation Engine: Demonstrates DAO voting and final decision outcomes

The system is designed to feel like a real product, not just a prototype, with smooth user flow and visual feedback.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was balancing AI automation with decentralized decision-making.

We had to ensure:

  • AI assists but does not dominate decisions
  • The system remains transparent and interpretable
  • The interface communicates complex insights in a simple way

Another challenge was designing a UI that feels professional and product-ready, rather than experimental.

What we learned
