Inspiration
Generative AI has opened up the possibility for students to have a more personalized feedback session. It is particularly important in developing nations where the student to teacher ratio is very skewed. Students are often left to their own learning abilities after a lesson and teachers find it difficult to individually follow up after their test due to the sheer size of the class.
What it does
TutrAI will help students get real time feedback on their understanding of the concepts they listened to in the lecture and also provide material that should focus on. We plan to tune it to generate relevant test questions in increasing order of difficulty from easy to hard based on uploaded material. For every mistake that the student makes it generates a customized remediation plan with relevant lecture material and practice questions on the student's weaker topic.
How we built it
We built a chatbot as an interface with two pipeline. One pipeline takes care of generating the questions and the other generates the remediation plan. Tech stack: berriAI app + python prototyping on replit
