  The Robo-TravelSaathi

Inspiration- The inspiration was to create a tool that makes travel planning easy. The Robo-TravelSaathi provides travel recommendations and assistance to users by answering their queries. This helps them explore new destinations.

What it does- The AI Travel Assistant is designed to help users know about their travel interests, itinerary planning, and budget travel. It also provides tips while travelling to a place, food recommendations, accommodation details like when to plan bookings, off-season/season details and many more.

How we built it- The App was built using streamlit for the frontend interface and GEMINI AI Model (gemini-1.5-pro-latest).

Challenges we ran into- Integration of Gemini model with streamlit and handling user inputs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of- Creation of the functional tool - Robo-TravelSaathi which assists the travel needs of users.

What we learned- In the process of creating this tool, I learned AI model integration and frontend development with Streamlit. I gained insights about what can be possible challenges in the travellers which are to be addressed by this tool.

What's next for AI Travel Assistant- I want to enhance the user interface of this tool, link APIs of Flight bookings and hotel Bookings, tailor recommendations from past travel experiences, support various languages, and Plan instance trips using the live location of the user.
