Inspiration

As a computer science teacher in Uzbekistan, I wanted to create a tool that makes financial markets accessible to everyone — students, beginners, and professionals alike. Most trading platforms are complex and require coding knowledge. I was inspired to build something powerful yet simple using MeDo.

What it does

AI Trading Agent Pro is a real-time trading dashboard that:

• Shows live prices for 80+ assets (crypto, stocks, forex, ETFs, indexes)
• Generates AI-powered BUY/SELL/HOLD signals with confidence scores
• Calculates risk management and position sizing
• Tracks virtual portfolio with P&L updates
• Maintains a trading journal with notes

How we built it

Built entirely with MeDo using natural language prompts — no coding required. I described each feature in detail, iterated through multi-turn conversations, and deployed with one click. MeDo handled React components, API integrations (CoinGecko, Yahoo Finance, Frankfurter), and the full UI.

Challenges we ran into

• Getting real-time data from free APIs without CORS issues
• Handling undefined price values that caused crashes
• Making the app mobile-responsive with a sidebar navigation

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• 80+ live assets with real API data
• Professional dark UI that looks like a real trading platform
• Fully functional in simulation mode — safe for education

What we learned

MeDo can build production-grade applications through conversation alone. The key is writing detailed, structured prompts with exact logic and specifications.
