Inspiration

Inspired by Tim Ferris and Cal Newport. Big advocates of smart communication. They advocate for automate, async environments that can make us more productive and disconnected from the hive mind mentality.

What it does

The AI Team Assistant assists product managers monitoring their team health. They can send out automated health report forms via email. These emails are written via an AI to keep each email fun, entertaining and hopefully this incentives staff to stay engaged with the exercise.

Challenges we ran into

The ability of Codas AI. We had to do some serious prompt engineering to get over some hurdles. Also making sure that the template is easily shareable and doesnt require a lot of setup.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • The setup has been designed so that you have a fully functioning app already. You don’t need to do a lot of data entry to start testing it with your team.
  • Numbered instructions and spacing between buttons creates a nice accessible experience for people to follow along and not get lost.
  • Everything uses naming conventions like camel case and spacers which helps anyone to start hacking with a well built and organised coda template.

What we learned

  • Check Coda AI capabiltiies before the competition starts.
  • Give myself a little more time to record the videos at the end for that extra chefs kiss.

What's next for Ai Team Assistant V1.0

I'd love to incorporate some sort of fun aspect into this. Setting up automated invites not just for information collection but also setting up random fun events, games etc.
