1. TuT - accelerated learning

Inspiration

The education system is failing millions. Students are falling behind, disengaged, and struggling to find meaning in a one-size-fits-all approach. This isn't just a failing grade, it's a lost opportunity for potential. Tut was born from the desire to ignite a passion for learning and empower every student to thrive.

What it does

Tut leverages AI to create a dynamic learning platform that tailors its approach to each student. Gone are the days of "one size fits all" education. Students receive targeted instruction, engaging content, and interactive exercises - all designed to unlock their full potential.

How we built it

As a starting point we built it on Nextjs and used openai for the prompt generation.

Challenges we ran into

My other team member had a hard time getting any work done, as he had taken a long break from programming, I did my best to try and help solve any issues but due to time constraints I decided that the best course of action is for me to also built the UI/UX. We didn't managed to built the text to speech and speech to text integration for our demo but its not something that a extra day couldn't solve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• We managed to create a presentation with all the requirement to effectively deliver the product in an understandable and meaningful way.
• We build a protototype from the ground up, using openai API for the prompt and test generation

What we learned

This is our first time attending 'Startup House' event and it has been a great experience learning from others how to pitch a startup and getting to know everyone.

What's next for Tut

In the next few months we plan on building out the mvp and launching a pilot project with a few schools.
