AI Sustainability Minigame

Inspiration

Sustainability is a big topic around the world today. This minigame aims to help spread awareness using AI.

What it does

It prompts Google Gemini for a sustainability question, then rates the answer given by the user. It also has a points system and a leaderboard, as well as a posts board so users can add posts about their thoughts/movements

How we built it

Using Google Gemini API, we build a full-stack application with a MVC architecture using ExpressJS on JavaScript. HTML, CSS and Bootstrap is used for the front-end.

Challenges we ran into

We initially used ChatGPT's API but kept running into errors, so we decided to switch to Google Gemini, which worked perfectly.
