About AI StudyMate

AI StudyMate is an AI-powered quiz generation platform designed to make learning more interactive and personalized.

Users can enter a subject and topic, and the application uses Google Gemini AI to generate multiple-choice questions automatically. Users can attempt the quiz, submit their answers, receive an instant score, and review their correct and incorrect answers.

Inspiration

Students often spend time searching for practice questions while preparing for exams. We wanted to create a simple tool that can generate fresh practice questions based on any subject and topic.

How It Works

1. The user enters a subject and topic.
2. AI StudyMate sends the request to the Flask backend.
3. Google Gemini generates multiple-choice questions.
4. The questions are displayed dynamically on the website.
5. The user selects answers and submits the quiz.
6. The system evaluates the answers and displays the score and answer review.

Challenges

One of the main challenges was integrating the AI model with the Flask backend and handling the generated questions dynamically on the frontend. We also implemented automatic answer evaluation and score calculation.

What I Learned

Through this project, I learned how to integrate generative AI into a web application, communicate between frontend and backend using APIs, work with Flask, and dynamically create interactive quiz content using JavaScript.
