Inspiration
Many students struggle with time management during exams and often don’t know how to plan their studies effectively. As students ourselves, we wanted to build a simple and practical solution that can guide students in creating a clear and achievable study plan.
What it does
AI Study Planner helps students generate a simple daily or weekly study plan. Users enter their subjects, available study hours, and exam timeline. The system then suggests a structured study schedule to help students study consistently and reduce stress.
How we built it
We built a beginner-friendly web application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The study planning logic is implemented using simple rule-based logic inspired by AI concepts. Our focus was on clarity, usability, and solving a real student problem rather than building a complex system.
Challenges we ran into
Understanding how to convert student inputs into a useful study plan was challenging. We also learned how to coordinate as a team and divide tasks efficiently within a limited time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully built a working prototype that addresses a real problem faced by students. As beginners, we are proud of collaborating as a team and completing a functional project within the hackathon timeline.
What we learned
We learned the importance of teamwork, basic AI logic, project planning, and time management. This hackathon helped us gain confidence in building and presenting a complete project.
What's next for AI Study Planner for Students
In the future, we plan to add progress tracking, reminders, and a chatbot feature for study guidance. We also aim to improve the AI logic for more personalized recommendations.
