Inspiration

Many students struggle to stay organized, understand difficult topics, and maintain consistent study habits. We were inspired to create ASC (AI Study Companion) to provide students with a smart assistant that helps them learn more effectively, track their progress, and receive personalized academic support anytime.

What it does

ASC is an AI-powered learning assistant that helps students manage their studies, generate summaries, answer academic questions, create quizzes, and recommend personalized learning resources. It acts as a daily companion that improves productivity, understanding, and exam preparation.

How we built it

We built ASC using modern web technologies including a responsive frontend interface, a backend service for handling requests, and AI APIs for generating learning content, summaries, and question-answer support. The system integrates database storage to manage user data, learning progress, and study materials.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was integrating AI responses in a way that remains accurate, fast, and helpful for students. We also faced challenges designing a simple user experience while handling complex backend processes such as real-time requests and personalized recommendations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a functional AI learning assistant that can help students interactively study and manage their learning tasks. Successfully integrating AI features with a smooth user interface was a major achievement for our team.
