Inspiration
As first-year computer science students, managing heavy research papers, lecture notes, and programming concepts can feel overwhelming. We wanted to build a simple tool that acts as a personalized assistant to make learning more efficient.
What it does
AI Study Companion is a mobile tool that helps students upload their study notes, code snippets, or research texts and instantly provides key summaries, clear explanations, and quick study guides.
How we built it
The project will be built using Python for backend data analysis and a simple framework logic to manage structure without adding unnecessary technical complexity for beginner setups.
Challenges we ran into
Managing multiple tools and managing time as a beginner student while learning Python structures for the first time.
What's next for AI study companion
We plan to introduce image recognition features to scan handwritten notes directly and turn them into interactive study flashcards.
