🌟 Inspiration

As someone who loves studying from home 🏠, I’ve always believed that traditional teaching methods often fail to meet the individual needs of every student. I noticed that it's difficult for teachers to explain lessons with the same effectiveness to all their students 🎓. This inspired me to create a solution powered by Artificial Intelligence 🤖 that can offer personalized support, making learning more accessible and efficient for everyone.

📚 What it does

AI Study Buddy is a smart website 💡 that fully relies on Artificial Intelligence technologies 🤖 to assist students in their studies. It reviews students' answers to exercises and determines their correctness ✅, providing reliable answers sourced from specialized teachers 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫. It enables advanced monitoring and real-time feedback through AI systems 🧠.

The website also tracks each student’s academic progress 📈 and creates a personalized study plan tailored to their exam schedule 📅. It allows students to:

  • 📝 Generate lesson summaries using AI
  • ❓ Create customized multiple-choice quizzes to improve comprehension
  • ⏳ Prepare for exams with an AI-powered study schedule that adapts to the remaining time
  • 💰 Manage the student’s personal budget using AI to help organize their academic and daily expenses efficiently
  • 🗣️ Enable AI-powered voice chat for more natural and accessible communication

It includes a comprehensive database of competitive exams in Morocco 🇲🇦, such as ENSA, and official exams like the Baccalaureate 🎓. These exams are presented in an interactive format—students can select answers and get instant feedback ⚡, while the system records their performance and time taken per exercise ⏱️.

This combination allowed us to deliver a comprehensive, AI-driven learning platform that is smart, fast, and helpful for students.

⚠️ Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was the lack of financial resources 💸. As a solo developer working on a big idea, I didn’t have the funds to hire a team or purchase premium tools and services. I had to rely on free and open-source solutions, and that meant spending extra time learning and integrating everything myself. Despite this, I stayed committed to building something valuable and meaningful using the resources I had. 💪

  • 🗣 Voice Tech: DeepSeek and Speechly to enable voice interactions

This combination allowed us to deliver a comprehensive, AI-driven learning platform that is smart, fast, and helpful for students.
