💡 Inspiration

Students waste hours switching between tabs, reading lengthy articles, and struggling to grasp complex topics. We wanted to make learning simpler, faster, and smarter by using the power of Perplexity’s Comet Browser to summarize, explain, and organize knowledge seamlessly.

AI Study Buddy is an intelligent learning companion built on Comet that helps students:

🔍 Summarize articles, PDFs, and webpages in one click.

🧠 Explain any topic at chosen difficulty levels (Beginner → Expert).

🎯 Generate flashcards and quizzes automatically for quick revision.

📑 Export notes and citations directly to Google Docs or Notion.

It redefines how students browse, learn, and retain information.

🛠️ How We Built It

Frontend: React web app / Comet browser integration for interactive UI.

AI Core: Perplexity Comet Agents for summarization, explanation, and Q&A generation.

Backend: Node.js (optional) for API routing and caching.

Storage: Firebase / local storage for user notes.

Integrations: Google Docs API, Notion API for exports.

Deployment: Vercel / Netlify for hosting and demo access.
