Inspiration

The rising popularity in day trading/stock trading for students.

What it does

Uses historical market data and moving averages to predict future stock prices.

How we built it

We used VS Code (python) to create both our AI and the graph.

Challenges we ran into

Training the AI to backtest the market data, increasing its win rate so that it can more accurately predict future stock prices.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating the AI in general and producing a simple yet effective visual graph for beginner traders.

What we learned

That not every prediction will be 100% accurate. Fluctuations and impulsive moves in the market will always happen, so the AI will often not be able to detect every single reversal.

What's next for AI stock price predictor

Developing it further, soon being able to provide the most optimal times to buy/sell a stock for maximum profits.
